Common Name: Black Morel
Scientific Name: Morchella angusticeps

Description: Cap is tannish brown, darkening to black with age. Features many cup shaped pits
in a honeycomb-like pattern. Cap is always attatched to stalk, which is much lighter
in color. Mushroom is hollow and it can be anywhere from a half inch tall to 8 inches. This mushroom is a delicious edible! Light colored spore print.

Description: Cap is whitish gray, darkening to tan/yellow with age. Features many cup shaped pits
in a honeycomb-like pattern. Cap is always attatched to stalk, which is much lighter
in color (white or cream). Mushroom is hollow and it can be anywhere from a half inch tall to 8 inches.
This mushroom is a delicious edible! Light colored spore print.
